A tube-end closing tool (pizza electrode) is a circular tool that is used to seal the end of a tube or a cylinder. The seal consists of a circular piece of material of the same type as the tube. We deliver the tool in different diameters depending of the needs of the individual customer. Diameters ≤ 200 mm can be welded in one hit with most of our machines, and for larger diameters we recommend a Mega machine which can weld diameters up to 400 mm in one hit, thanks to the wider lower press table. In a TX-Mega it is possible to weld 450 mm Ø and in a TDW-Ultra up to 600 mm Ø.
